Signage

Nonconforming signs shall not be altered (except as permitted in subsection (A)(3) of this section), replaced, enlarged or reconstructed, except in such a manner as to cause the sign to conform fully to this chapter. Any sign lawfully existing or for which a permit has been issued prior to the effective date of this chapter, but which does not conform to the provisions of this chapter, is a nonconforming sign. A sign lawfully existing or for which a permit has been issued and which exceeds the area or height regulations of this chapter by twenty-five percent or less shall be deemed in compliance with this chapter and is not a nonconforming use.
