Signage
- Illumination and moving parts restrictions
No sign shall contain moving parts. No sign may be illuminated by intermittent light. Only on-premises and off-premises signs may be illuminated within commercial, industrial or institutional zone districts. Only signs displaying a property address may be illuminated in a residential and agricultural zone district.

No signs shall be erected within the unincorporated regions of Madera County except as expressly permitted by this chapter. No off-premises sign shall be erected without the prior issuance of a zoning permit pursuant to Chapter 18.104.
