Height
The height of a structure shall be measured vertically from the average elevation of the surface of the ground covered by the structure to the highest point of the structure

Penthouses or roof structures for the housing of elevators, stairways, tanks, ventilating fans, air conditioning equipment or similar equipment required to operate and maintain buildings, and fire and parapet walls, skylights, towers, spires, cupolas, road signs (where permitted), flagpoles, chimneys, smokestacks, television and radio masts, or similar structures, may be erected to a height not exceeding twenty-five feet above the height limit of the underlying zone district
