• Minimum distance for 24-hour donation containers from residential50 ft

  Containers for the 24 hour donation of materials shall be at least 50 feet from any property zoned or occupied for residential use unless there is a recognized service corridor and acoustical shielding.

• Maximum size for small collection facility500 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  Shall be no larger than 500 square feet and occupy a surfaced site.

• Operating hours if within 100 ft of residential

  Attended facilities located within 100 feet of a property zoned or occupied for residential use shall operate only during the hours between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
