Infill residential lots (smaller than 7,000 square feet) may have up to 60% of the rear yard covered by roofed structures. Eaves, cantilevered roofs, awnings and similar architectural features may project a maximum distance of 2½ feet into any required front or side yard or 5 feet into a rear yard.
