Signage

• Maximum area for sidewalk sign6 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  Sign area shall not exceed 6 square feet (e.g., each face of a double-sided or A-frame sign).

• Maximum distance from main entrance for sidewalk sign30 ft

  and not more than thirty feet (30') from the main customer/client entrance or service window of the establishment.

• Maximum heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first. for sidewalk sign4 ft

  Maximum height shall be 4 feet.

• Maximum width for sidewalk sign2.5 ft

  Maximum width shall be 2'6".

• Minimum clear path width for sidewalk sign4 ft

  nor shall it cause the unobstructed, clear-path of the walkway to be less than four feet (4') in width.

• Minimum distance from curb for sidewalk sign2 ft

  No sign shall be located within or closer than two feet (2') from curbs, driveways, parking lots or any other vehicular circulation or parking surfaces.

• Maximum distance from front of establishment for sidewalk sign15 ft

  The placement of sidewalk signs shall be limited to a location within fifteen feet (15') of the front (i.e., between the imaginary extension of the side walls of the building) of the establishment to which it refers
