Public art, and any alteration or removal thereof, must be approved by the Public Art Committee of the Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission.

Public art may be utilized as an Optional Form of Development in place of conformity with one or more of the following provisions regarding a prescribed development standard set forth in section 2204: Build-to zone; Front or side street setbacks; Transparency; Blank wall; or Outdoor amenity space.
