• Allowed deviations from requirements

  The city council may allow reasonable deviations from required setbacks, landscaping, height restrictions, minimum lot area, and required lot coverage.

• Application fee for nonprofit or home occupationHome occupationA business run from a dwelling, permitted so long as it stays subordinate to living there.360 USD

  The fee for such applications shall be three hundred sixty dollars ($360.00).

• Application fee for conditional useConditional useAllowed only after a discretionary approval — usually a public hearing and a board vote. permit1,090 USD

  One thousand ninety dollars ($1,090.00) for all applications except applications submitted by a nonprofit organization or for a home occupation under section 234 of this ordinance.

• Fee for reconsideration of existing conditions660 USD

  An application to reconsider existing conditions shall be accompanied by a fee of six hundred sixty dollars ($660.00)

• Time for planning commission recommendation45 days

  Within forty-five (45) days after the hearing, the commission shall submit its recommendations to the city council

• Minimum notice for public hearingConditional useAllowed only after a discretionary approval — usually a public hearing and a board vote.15 days

  written notice as prescribed therein shall be given at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing.

• Wait period after denial before refiling1 years
