  • Lighting shielding for loading areas

    All sources of illumination shall be so shielded as to prevent any direct reflection toward adjacent premises where the zoning allows residential, apartment or hotel use.

  • Loading space minimum dimensions12 ft

    Each loading space shall have minimum horizontal dimensions of twelve (12) by thirty-five (35) feet.

  • Vertical clearance for loading spaces14 ft

    No less than half of the required number of off-street loading spaces, but in all cases at least one (1) space, shall have a vertical clearance of at least fourteen (14) feet, and the balance of required spaces shall have a vertical clearance of at least ten (10) feet.

  • Maneuvering area vertical clearance14 ft

    Adequate maneuvering areas and access to a street shall be provided and shall have a vertical clearance of at least fourteen (14) feet.

  • Marking of loading spaces3 spaces

    Loading spaces for three (3) or more vehicles shall have individual spaces marked.

Except as otherwise provided in the regulations of any form-based district, the off-street loading requirements herein specified shall apply to all zoning lots exceeding five thousand (5,000) square feet in area for the class or kind of uses indicated.
