• Civil penalty for additional summons500 dollars

  and not more than $500 for each additional summons.

• Maximum total civil penalty5,000 dollars

  a series of specified violations arising from the same operative set of facts shall not result in civil penalties that exceed a total of $5,000.

• Civil penalty for first violation200 dollars

  The penalty for any one violation shall be a civil penalty of not more than $200 for the initial summons

• Maximum criminal fine for other violations1,000 dollars

  all other violations of this Chapter are misdemeanors, punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.

• Fine for failure to abate overcrowding5,000 dollars

  Failure to abate the violation within the specified time period shall be punishable by a fine of up to $5,000

• Fine for overcrowding violation2,000 dollars

  Any conviction resulting from a violation of provisions regulating the number of unrelated persons in single-unit residential dwellings shall be punishable by a fine of up to $2,000.

• Fine for subsequent 10-day period7,500 dollars

  any such failure during any succeeding ten (10) day period shall constitute a separate misdemeanor offense for each ten (10) day period punishable by a fine of up to $7,500.

• Fine for tree canopy violation250 dollars

  Violation of Chapter 17 shall constitute a Class 3 misdemeanor punishable by fine of not more than $250.00
