Parking

• Aisle width for 60-degree parking18 ft

  18 feet when the parking spaces are at a 60 degree angle with the aisle.

• Aisle width for 90-degree parking24 ft

  All aisles within parking shall have a minimum width of 24 feet when the parking spaces are at a 90 degree angle with the aisle.

• Aisle width for parallel parking12 ft

  12 feet for parallel parking.

• Minimum loading space clear heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first.14 ft

  A minimum clear height of 14 feet.

• Minimum loading space length45 ft

  A minimum length of 45 feet, exclusive of driveways, aisles, and other circulation areas.

• Minimum loading space width12 ft

  An off-street loading space shall have a minimum width of 12 feet.

• Loading space requirement

  One off-street loading space shall be provided and maintained on the same lot for every separate occupancy requiring delivery of goods and having modified gross floor areas of up to 5,000 square feet. One loading space shall be provided for each additional 10,000 square feet or fraction thereof.

• Minimum distance from parking to dwelling20 ft

  No part of any parking area for more than ten vehicles shall be closer than 20 feet to any dwelling unit, school, hospital, or other institution for human care located on an adjoining lot.

• Parking location for detached residential

  Parking spaces for all detached residential units shall be located on the same lot as the use which they are intended to serve. The parking area shall not be located within any required front yard.
