Design
- Architectural style
New development shall harmoniously blend within the HG with existing historic buildings, structures, sites, and objects. Franchise designs are unacceptable, as are unadorned 'box-like' buildings.
Noise
- Amplified speakers prohibitedProhibitedNot allowed in the district at all, short of rezoning or a variance.
No amplified speaker system shall be used outdoors within the HG.
Other
- Minimum sidewalk separation from road5 ft
There shall be a separation of a minimum of five (5) feet between the sidewalk and the edge of the road(s).
- Tree preservation
The preservation of trees on site shall be practiced except to accommodate ingress/egress, parking, building development, and other necessary infrastructure. Where required, street trees shall be of native species.

No banners shall be installed on any building within the HG.
