- Certificate of appropriateness required
A certificate of appropriateness shall be required from the architectural review board for all work undertaken in the historic district, except for ordinary maintenance.
- Demolition approval
No historic landmark, building or structure within any district shall be razed, demolished, or moved until approved and a certificate of appropriateness is issued.
- Design review standards
The architectural review board shall consider the appropriateness of the proposed alteration or construction on the character defining features of the building, structure, landscape, or district.
