  • Bufferyard requirements

    Bufferyard may be required by city council; may be used for passive recreation; no ice skating rinks, playfields, ski hills, stables, swimming pools, tennis courts.

  • Community facility requirements

    At least one parcel for recreation not less than 5,000 sq ft; additional 250 sq ft per acre over 3.

  • Maximum commercial area5 pct

    Total area of commercial development shall not exceed 5% of gross area.

  • Minimum development size

    Minimum 3 acres for one dwelling type, 20 acres for mix of dwelling types.

  • Usable open space not less than 20% of gross acreage; not more than 25% of required open space in water/wetlands; land sloping >20% not counted.

  • Staged development requirements

    Each stage must provide min 20% open space; density variation within 10% of approved total.

Planned unit development (PUD) is a concept which encourages and permits variation in residential developments ... The maximum gross density shall not exceed 14 units per acre.
