From the ordinance
A front landscaped area shall be required for all duplex, multifamily and nonresidential uses, except for uses located in the Central Business District (B-3). The required landscape area shall be contiguous to the front lot line of the property and have an average minimum width of ten feet. The area shall be covered with grass or other ground cover and shall include appropriate trees and shrubs. At a minimum, one tree and ten shrubs shall be planted within the front landscaped area for each 50 feet or fraction thereof of lot frontage.
