- Electronic messages only on monument signs
Electronic messages are allowed only as part of a monument sign that meets the standards in section 83-488(e)(3), Freestanding signs.

Electronic message displays are limited to no more than three lines of alphabetical and numerical text only. No graphics are allowed in any form.
- Minimum display time3 minutes
The current message displayed must remain on for three minutes before another message can take its place.

Changing messages shall enter and exit the face of the electronic message display area by scrolling only.

Signs displaying electronic messages are allowed only on lots zoned residential commercial (R-C), commercial (C), light industrial (I-1), or heavy industrial (I-2) that front on US Highway 60, and only along the lot's frontage with US Highway 60.
