    Buildings shall have clearly defined, highly visible customer entrances featuring at least three of the following features: canopies, roof overhangs, entry recesses, arcades, raised corniced parapets, gabled roof forms, outdoor patios, display windows, or integral planters.

  • Facade massing elements required2 count

    To reduce their perceived mass and scale, buildings shall incorporate two or more of the following elements on each street-facing facade: variations in roof form, pronounced wall offsets, distinct changes in texture/color, ground level arcades, protected entries, or vertical accents.

  • Pedestrian walkway features

    Pedestrian walkways shall be provided through parking areas and shall be distinguished from other surfaces through a combination of two or more of the following features: six-inch vertical curb, special railings, bollards, special paving, low seating wall, pedestrian scale lighting, or traffic calming devices.
