Lighting
- Light and glare considerations
The Board of Supervisors must consider whether the proposal includes reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of light on the environment and surrounding properties; lighting controls are used to appropriately reduce lighting at specific time periods; and the proposed lighting will not create unwarranted glare, sky glow, or light trespass.
- Photometrics plan requirement
All applications for Special Exception to exceed light and glare standards of Section 7.05.02 must include a Photometrics Plan and mitigation measures and supporting calculations to adequately reduce the effects of the proposal on the environment and surrounding properties.
