Parking

  • A home occupation permitting an employee to work on-site requires 1 off-street parking space in addition to the minimum off-street parking requirements for the dwelling unit.

  • No off-street parking facility for multifamily dwellings is permitted in areas between buildings and streets, unless those parking areas are sufficiently bermed and screened at a minimum height of 6 feet so that the parking areas are not visible from the street.

  • Multiple ownership requirements

    Wherever required off-street parking facilities are proposed to be provided other than on the lot or parcel of land on which the principal use served is located, when such facilities are collectively or jointly provided and used, and/or when the parcels or lots are owned by different parties, the facilities must be in the same possession, either by deed or long-term lease, as the property occupied by the principal use.

  • Parking facility standards

    All parking facilities must conform to the Facilities Standards Manual (FSM); avoid the Visibility Triangle; and be provided on the same lot or within 500 feet of the principal entrance.

  • Parking structure design

    Above-grade parking structures must be designed to be consistent in terms of design, architecture, details, and treatment; provide ground-floor windows along street frontages equal to at least 50% of ground floor wall area; and required windows must have a sill no more than 4 feet above grade.

  • Recreational pickup/delivery zone50 ft

    Recreational, health and fitness center, and day care uses must include a designated pickup and delivery zone located within 50 feet of the primary building entrance.

  • Recycling center parking

    The recycling drop-off center requires on-site parking and follows the requirements in Section 7.06.02, or the anticipated peak customer load as determined by the Zoning Administrator.

  • Safe pedestrian circulation

    All off-street parking facilities must have access from alleys or from streets at locations that accommodate safe pedestrian circulation.

All parking facilities must: 1. Conform to the Facilities Standards Manual (FSM); 2. Avoid the Visibility Triangle pursuant to Section 7.07.04; and 3. Be provided on the same lot or parcel of land being served, or on a separate lot or parcel of land within 500 feet of the principal entrance of the building being served.
