Landscaping & trees
- Preservation of existing tree canopy
If the site has a tree canopy coverage of less than 20% prior to development, the landscape plan must provide for the preservation or planting and replacement of an equivalent percentage of tree canopy coverage as existed prior to development; if 20% or more, must provide for at least 20% canopy.
- Minimum tree canopy per lot2.5 pct
Every platted lot must have a minimum tree canopy coverage of 2.5%, or 3,000 square feet, whichever is less, calculated at 20 years maturity.
