• MFA AHU buildings must not be discernable from market-rate

  When the AHU building is a MFA building, each elevation must be similar in building materials, design, and architectural features. Permitted primary materials include brick, CMU, glass, metal panels, stone, tile, stucco, cementitious siding, premium vinyl siding.

• SFD/SFA/MFS AHUs must use same exterior materials and style as market-rate

  When the AHUs are provided as a SFD, SFA, or MFS dwelling units, then the AHUs must utilize the same exterior building materials and be of a similar architectural style to the market rate dwelling unit(s) of the same dwelling unit type in the development.

• 100% of AHUs must have CO before 90% of market-rate COs100 pct

  Certificates of Occupancy for 100% of the AHUs must be issued prior to issuance of more than 90% of the Certificates of Occupancy for the market rate dwelling units in the development.

• 50% of AHUs must have CO before 50% of market-rate COs50 pct

  Certificates of Occupancy for 50% of the AHUs must be issued prior to issuance of more than 50% of the Certificates of Occupancy for the market rate dwelling units in the development.

• 75% of AHUs must have CO before 75% of market-rate COs75 pct

  Certificates of Occupancy for 75% of the AHUs must be issued prior to issuance of more than 75% of the Certificates of Occupancy for the market rate dwelling units in the development.

• AHUs must equal or exceed required ADUs and UHNUs

  The total number of AHUs provided must be equal to or greater than the total number of required ADUs and UHNUs for the development.
