A conditional use may be approved by the board of supervisors for any use specifically identified as a permitted conditional use in the use matrix in article VII of this chapter.
- Conditions may be imposed
In approving these conditional uses, the board of supervisors may, in addition to the general regulations applicable to the zoning district in which the conditional use is located, impose any additional reasonable conditions in connection therewith that it deems necessary to ensure that the conditional use will be consistent with the overall intent and spirit of this chapter.
- Findings required
A conditional use permit shall not be issued unless the board of supervisors shall find that: (1) The proposed use will not adversely affect the health, safety, or welfare of persons residing or working in the general proximity, of the proposed use. Nor will the proposed use be detrimental to public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood. (2) The proposed use will conform to the comprehensive plan, or to specific elements of such plan, and the official policies adopted in relation thereto.
