Establishments with a building area of ten thousand (10,000) square feet or less may construct either a monument-type sign or a double-post sign; establishments with a building area greater than ten thousand (10,000) square feet shall construct a monument-type sign.

All signs in the historic overlay districts require approval of the historic architectural review committee (HARC) except as otherwise set forth in section 6-3006 and when a sign permit is not required as provided in section 9-1004.
