  • Certificate expiration12 months

    Any certificate of appropriateness or permit to raze expires 12 months from issuance if work not commenced, or if suspended/abandoned for 12 months.

  • Certificate of appropriateness required

    No building or structure, including signs, shall be erected, reconstructed, altered or restored within the historic district unless approved by the ARB as architecturally compatible.

  • Demolition by neglect90 days

    If ARB determines a structure is being demolished by neglect, owner has 90 days to commence work.

  • Demolition review

    No historic landmark, building or structure shall be razed, demolished or moved until approved by the ARB, or on appeal, by Town Council.
