An approved conditional use permit shall become null and void if no application for a building permit to construct the authorized improvements has been submitted within one year of the date of approval by the Town Council.
- General requirements for approval
A conditional use permit shall be granted only if the Town Council finds that the proposed conditional use: will not be in conflict with the objectives of the comprehensive plan; will not be contrary to the purposes of this chapter; and conforms with all applicable provisions of § 171-84 and all other applicable requirements of the district.
The Commission shall give public notice and hold a public hearing as required by § 15.1-431, Code of Virginia 1950, as amended. The hearing shall be held not more than 60 days after filing of a complete application and all necessary plans.

Upon determination by the Zoning Administrator of any violation of a conditional use permit, such permit may be subject to revocation if the violation is not corrected within 90 days of written notice to the owner of the property by the Zoning Administrator.
