- Building permits
All permits required by applicable building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes shall be obtained from the building official prior to installation.
- Factory-fabricated
The temporary structure shall be factory-fabricated and transportable.
- Location
Such structures may be located anywhere on site, except within existing vegetated buffers or other areas designated on the site plan to remain free from land disturbance.
- Maintenance
The structure shall be maintained in good condition.
- Maximum months36 months
No more than 36 consecutive months. May be renewed for two 12-month periods, but total not more than 3 years.
- Under-skirting
Under-skirting shall be installed around all temporary structures requiring site plan approval.
From the ordinance
Temporary facilities used as sales/leasing offices, including those located in a model unit of a residential project, or used during construction to expand or replace a permanent building, may be permitted on the same site as the permanent use. Such temporary offices may remain on the site for no more than 36 consecutive months. This period may be renewed for two twelve-month periods... In no event, however, shall such extensions allow the temporary use to remain on the site for more than three years.
