• Access road requirement

  Access to the site shall not be by means of a minor residential street. An all-weather access road, negotiable by loaded collection vehicles, shall be provided to the entrance of the landfill area.

• Burning prohibition

  No burning of garbage and refuse shall be permitted on the site.

• Compaction layer depth2 ft

  Each layer shall be compacted thoroughly to a depth not greater than approximately two (2) feet.

• Daily cover thickness6 inches

  Daily cover shall be six (6) inches, at least, of suitable soil, thoroughly compacted.

• Dust control requirement

  Dust control measures shall be applied when necessary.

• Equipment shelterShelterTemporary accommodation for people without housing, usually with support services. requirement

  An equipment shelter suitable to accommodate the equipment and other necessary service supplies shall be provided.

• Fence requirement

  A durable fence shall prohibit the general public from entering the site when the gates are closed. Gates and locks must be provided at each entrance, a sign shall be posted, identifying the site and giving notice that only authorized persons are permitted on the site.

• Final cover thickness2 ft

  Final cover shall be at least two (2) feet of compacted soil to be placed within one week of completion of fill.

• Maximum total depth of fillGrading (cut & fill)Reshaping land by removing earth (cut) or adding it (fill), often capped by volume.80 ft

  Total depth of fill shall not exceed eighty (80) feet.

• Portable fence for debris

  A portable fence shall be placed near the unloading area to catch all blowing paper or other debris and material.

• Scavenging restriction

  Scavenging operations shall not be permitted to interfere with the operation of the landfill; all salvage material must be removed or covered by the end of each working day.

• Vector control requirement

  Adequate vector control measures shall be continuously exercised.
