The proposed use is consistent with the Rural Village designation in the Comprehensive Plan; 2. The proposed use is compatible with the existing character of the Rural Village area; 3. The proposed use will not adversely affect the public health, safety, or general welfare; 4. The proposed use will not result in a significant increase in traffic, noise, or other impacts on the surrounding area; and 5. The proposed use is in conformity with the Comprehensive Plan.

  • Special exception for sign modification

    The Board may grant a special exception to modify the sign regulations of this Zoning Ordinance, provided that the Board finds that: 1. The modification is necessary to accommodate the proposed use; 2. The modification will not adversely affect the character of the surrounding area; 3. The modification will not result in a sign that is incompatible with the surrounding area; and 4. The modification is in conformity with the Comprehensive Plan.
