Externally lit signs shall be illuminated only with steady, stationary, fully shielded light sources directed solely onto the sign without causing glare. The fixtures and source(s) of illumination used to illuminate signs shall not be directed toward nearby residential properties. Illumination of a grandfathered off premise sign is prohibited.
