Uses

Permitted by right5

  • Detached single-family dwellings (including detached relocatable industrialized building units, but not mobile homes or manufactured homes)
  • Churches and Sunday Schools, rectories, parish houses, convents and monasteries, temples, and synagogues
  • Facilities and structures necessary for rendering public utility service (poles, wires, transformers, telephone booths, underground pipelines or conduits)
  • Private stable or keeping of horses, ponies or other livestock for personal enjoyment (building at least 100 ft from side/rear lot lines, max one animal per acre)
  • Yard sale or garage sale (max once per year, max 3 days, permit required)

  • Special agriculture use (confinement operations)
  • Cemeteries, including crematorium
  • Convalescent homes, nursing homes or homes for the aged

Accessory dwelling units are permitted by special exception approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals. Minimum street frontage is fifty (50) feet. If street is less than fifty (50) feet in width front yard shall be at least sixty (60) feet measured from centerline.
