NONCONFORMING STRUCTURE — An otherwise legal building or structure that does not conform with the lot area, yard, height, lot coverage or other area regulations of this article or that is designed or intended for a use that does not conform to the use regulations of this article for the district in which it is located either at the effective date of this article or as a result of subsequent amendments of the article.
