Sec. 5.2

Lighting

    The home occupation shall comply with the requirements of section 4.17 regarding outdoor lighting.

Noise

  • Noise

    The home occupation shall comply with the requirements of section 4.18 regarding noise.

Other

  • The home occupation shall be accessory to a principal dwelling on the same lot.

  • Conducted by resident

    The home occupation shall be conducted by a person residing in the principal dwelling.

  • The home occupation shall not involve the use of more than 25 percent of the gross floor area of the principal dwelling, or 500 square feet, whichever is less.

  • Maximum non-resident employees1 persons

    The home occupation shall not employ more than 1 person who does not reside in the principal dwelling.

  • No customer sales

    The home occupation shall not involve the sale of goods or services to customers who visit the premises, except as otherwise provided in this ordinance.

  • No outdoor storage

    The home occupation shall not involve the storage of materials, equipment, or supplies outside of the principal dwelling or accessory building.

  • No perceptible equipment

    The home occupation shall not involve the use of equipment that creates noise, vibration, glare, heat, or electrical disturbance that is perceptible beyond the lot line.

  • Location

    The home occupation shall be conducted entirely within the principal dwelling or within an accessory building on the same lot.

Parking

  • Parking requirements

    The home occupation shall comply with the parking requirements of section 4.12.
