    All energy storage facilities shall be equipped with an automatic shutdown system.

  • National safety standards

    Energy storage facilities shall comply with generally accepted national environmental protection and product safety standards for the use of battery technologies, such as those developed for existing product certifications and standards including, but not limited to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 855, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 9540A Ed. 4-2019, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Standard 1547.
