Fencing & walls

Towers shall be enclosed by security fencing not less than six (6) feet in height and shall also be equipped with an appropriate anti-climbing device.
Landscaping & trees

The standard buffer shall consist of a landscaped strip at least four (4) feet wide outside the perimeter of the facilities.
- Tree preservation distance from tower100 ft
Existing trees within one hundred (100) feet of the tower shall not be removed except as may be authorized to permit construction of the tower and installation of access for vehicles or placement of support structures and equipment.

- Abandonment period24 months
Any antenna or tower that is not operated for a continuous period of twenty-four (24) months shall be considered abandoned.
- County co-location space1 space
At least one space shall be available for County use on all towers at the time of use permit approval, and in no event shall that space be occupied by another user without providing the County at least sixty (60) days written notice.
- Removal time after notice90 days
the owner of such antenna or tower shall remove same within ninety (90) days of receipt of notice from the County notifying the owner of such removal requirement.

The owner of each such antenna or tower shall submit a report to the Culpeper County Planning and Zoning Department once every two (2) years, between June 1 and July 1.
