The following signs and sign characteristics shall be prohibited in all zoning districts: Animated signs; Flashing signs; Pennants, streamers, ribbons, spinners, inflatables; Laser light or image projection signs; Off-premises signs; Portable signs; Projecting signs erected with their lowest portions above a height of 25 feet; Roof signs; Searchlight or beacon signs; Any electrical signs that do not display the UL, ETL, CSA, or ULC label; Any sign attached to utility poles or public property; Any sign imitating traffic signs; Flashing or revolving lights or beacons; Any sign on stationary motor vehicles; Any sign projecting beyond building; Any sign obstructing fire escapes; Exposed neon tubing outlining buildings; Any sign producing sound, odor, or visible matter.
