- Buffer reduction for bikeways
Where right-of-way or other property dedication is necessary to accommodate a required bikeway, the width of the buffer may be reduced by the same amount as the dedication.
- Buffers between different zoning districts
Buffers shall be provided between different zoning districts as outlined in Tables 19.2-35.1 and 19.2-35.2.
- Buffer for non-residential uses with parking50 ft
Any non-residential use with five or more parking spaces within single-family residential districts (A, RC, SR, SC, and SU) must provide a 50-foot buffer between the parking area and the adjacent property line.

Generally, stormwater facilities are not permitted within buffers. However, if a unique site circumstance requires a facility adjacent to a road, it may encroach if located within open space, kept free of debris, and additional landscaping provided.
