- Equipment protection for perpendicular/angle stalls
When the electric vehicle parking space is perpendicular or at an angle to a curb face and charging equipment, adequate equipment protection such as wheel stops, concrete-filled bollards shall be used.
- No battery storage permitted
No battery storage is permitted.
- No pedestrian impediment
Equipment for a charging station shall be designed and located as to not impede pedestrian travel or create trip hazards.
- Required posted information for public stations
For charging stations open to the public, the following information shall be posted on each charging station: Voltage and amperage levels; Hour of operations if time limits or tow-away provisions are to be enforced by the property owner; Usage fees, if applicable; Safety information; and Contact information for reporting when the equipment is not operating or other problems.
