  • Decommissioning of solar systems

    The owner shall remove all solar energy systems, solar panels and support structures, buildings, cabling, electrical components, roads and any other associated equipment within ninety (90) days of cessation or abandonment of the use.

  • Ground-mounted solar footprint limit25 pct

    The footprint of the solar energy system shall not exceed twenty-five (25) percent of the lot area of the property on which it is placed.

  • Height of the solar energy system, together with its support structures and associated equipment, shall not exceed twelve (12) feet.

  • Ground-mounted solar location

    The solar energy system shall not be placed in the established front yard and shall be subject to the same side and rear yard setbacks as other accessory structures.

  • The height of the solar energy system does not extend more than five (5) feet above the highest point of the roof of the building or structure on which it is installed or exceed by twenty-five (25) percent the height of the dwelling, whichever is less.
