  • Carbon monoxide detector required

    A carbon monoxide detector must be installed on each floor in every dwelling.

    A fire extinguisher shall be provided and visible in all kitchen and cooking areas.

    The dates and information for trash collection shall be posted prominently in the short term rental unit.

  • A Type A short term rental is a portion of a single-family dwelling unit where the host is the permanent resident of the dwelling, and the host is present during the short term rental.

  • A Type B short term rental is a single-family dwelling unit where the host is not the permanent resident of the dwelling, or where the permanent resident of the dwelling is not present during the guest stay.
