• Type I max customers per day5 customers

  The sale of goods or services produced on the premises which involve a consumer coming to the premises shall be limited to no more than five customers or vehicles per day.

• Type I max floor area percentage10 pct

  The maximum floor area permitted for a home occupation shall be 10% of the finished floor area of the dwelling unit.

• Type I max lesson students at a time5 students

  Lessons in the applied arts shall be permitted, provided that the class size for any lesson does not exceed five students at any one time or a total of 15 students per week.

• Type I max storage percentage5 pct

  Storage of goods or products shall not exceed 5% of the finished floor area.

• Type I no advertising allowed

  No advertising through local media, including telephone books, flyers, banners, social media or other internet media, shall be permitted so as not to call attention to the residential address of the home occupation.

• Type I no sign allowed

  No sign may be placed on the property advertising the home occupation.

• Type II max customers per day20 customers

  The sale of goods or services produced on the premises which involve a consumer coming to the premises shall be limited to not more than 20 customers or vehicles per day.

• Type II max floor area percentage25 pct

  The maximum floor area permitted for the home occupation shall be 25% of the finished floor area of the dwelling unit.

• Type II max lesson students at a time8 students

  Lessons in the applied arts shall be permitted, provided that the class size for any lesson does not exceed eight students at any one time or a total of 24 students per week.

• Type II max storage percentage12 pct

  Storage of goods or products shall not exceed 12% of the finished floor area.

• Type II max sign area2 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  One nonilluminated sign, a maximum of two square feet in area, shall be permitted per dwelling, regardless of the number of home occupations within the dwelling.
