    At least half of the required recreation area shall be for active recreation, such as swimming pools, ballfields, and play lots for small children.

    Retail sales for the convenience of campground tenants are permitted. Items are limited to food, concessions, recreational supplies, personal care items, and other items clearly supportive of campground tenants' needs.

  • Each campsite designed for recreational vehicles shall have a minimum space of 2,000 square feet with a minimum width of 30 feet.

Setback

From the ordinance

The minimum area for a campground shall be 10 contiguous acres. Each campsite shall be set back a minimum distance of 50 feet from the perimeter property line of the campground. The maximum density shall be 14 sites per gross acre.
