  • Minimum age of grantee for family division18 years

    The grantee is at least eighteen (18) years of age and able to hold title to real estate under Virginia law.

  • Maximum lots for administrative approval10 lots

    A subdivision not exceeding ten (10) lots may be approved by the zoning administrator or planning director provided no new public street, public water or public sewerage facilities are involved.

  • Deadline to record approved family subdivision plat6 months

    The approved family subdivision plat shall be recorded in the office of the clerk of the circuit court within six (6) months.

  • Deadline to record reconfiguration plat6 months

    The applicant shall be responsible for recording the plat in the office of the clerk of the circuit court within six (6) months of approval or it will become invalid.
