Lighting
- Dark sky lighting
Lighting must be limited to the minimum reasonably necessary for security purposes and shall be designed to minimize off-site effects. Lighting on the site shall be dark sky-compliant.

All energy storage facilities shall be equipped with an automatic shutdown system.
- Vegetative buffer
A vegetative buffer sufficient to mitigate the visual impact of the facility is required. If an opaque fence is used, there shall be single row of screening trees required. If a transparent fence is used, there shall be a double staggered row of screening trees required.
