Noise

  • Industrial noise compliance

    Sound generated from a use of an industrial character shall comply with section 4.18.

  • Dumpster pad material

    Dumpster pads shall be concrete.

  • Glare prohibition

    No direct or sky reflected glare... so as to be visible beyond the lot line, shall be permitted except for signs, parking lot lighting and other lighting authorized by this chapter.

    Any operation producing intense glare as determined by the zoning administrator shall be performed only within a completely enclosed building.

    Measurements shall be made at or beyond the closest boundary line of an abutting lot and the zoning district boundary line closest to the source.

Parking

    Vehicle access aisles that are not adjacent to parking spaces, shall not exceed a grade of ten percent.

  • Maximum parking grade5 pct

    The maximum grade for parking spaces, loading spaces, and access aisles abutting parking or loading spaces shall not exceed five percent in any direction.

  • Maximum parking spaces above required20 pct

    The number of parking spaces in a parking area may not exceed the number of spaces required by this section by more than 20 percent.

  • Maximum shared parking reduction35 pct

    The aggregate number of parking spaces required for all uses participating in the shared parking shall not be reduced by more than 35 percent.

  • Minimum one-way aisle width12 ft

    The minimum travelway width for one-way access aisles shall be 12 feet.

  • All angled parking must have a parking envelope that is nine feet by 18 feet within each angled parking space.
