- Existing structure definition
Existing structure means, as used in section 5.1.40 and any definitions pertaining to personal wireless service facilities, a structure, other than a flagpole or an existing personal wireless service facility that was lawfully constructed or established and complies with the minimum applicable bulk, height, setback, floor area or other structure requirements of the district in which the structure is located. For floodplain management purposes, the term existing structure means any structure for which the start of construction commenced before the effective date of the Flood Insurance Rate Map or before January 1, 1975 for Flood Insurance Rate Maps effective before that date.
