- Affordable housing requirement
Each development containing five or more residential dwelling units must comply with the Albemarle County Comprehensive Plan (Chapter 9, Housing), the Housing Albemarle policy, and the standards of this section.
- Allowed exterior materials
Allowed materials include decorative concrete masonry unit, concrete block with stucco, split face block (accent only), glass curtain wall, glass block, tinted glass, metal panels (reflective only in small quantities), wood siding, wood clapboard, tile, fiber cement siding, green walls. Prohibited: aluminum siding, corrugated metal siding, metal sheets with expressed seams, unfinished wood siding, vinyl siding, scored stucco.
- Civic space requirement
Each development under the Rio29 FBC must devote at least the following minimum percentage of gross acreage to civic space (see Table 11).
