From the ordinance
An area of at least five percent of the paved parking and vehicular circulation area shall be landscaped with trees or shrubs. The plant materials may be a mixture of shade trees and shrubs and shall include one large or medium shade tree per ten parking spaces or portion thereof, if five spaces or more.
