Lighting

  • Hours of illumination for institutional, commercial, and industrial uses adjacent to residential

    Institutional uses, commercial uses, and industrial uses that are adjacent to existing residential development shall extinguish all exterior lighting, except lighting necessary for security or emergency purposes, within one hour after closing and shall not turn on such lights until within one hour of opening.

    All exterior lights shall be 3,000 Kelvin light color temperature or less.

  • Any pole-mounted exterior lighting shall not exceed a height of 30 feet in height in industrial districts and 20 feet in height in all other districts.

    Each outdoor luminaire subject to these outdoor lighting requirements shall be a full cutoff luminaire and aimed and controlled such that directed light is directed inward to the property and confined to the object intended to be illuminated.

Any pole-mounted exterior lighting shall not exceed a height of 30 feet in height in industrial districts and 20 feet in height in all other districts. All exterior lights shall be 3,000 Kelvin light color temperature or less.
