  • Maximum stay30 days

    All hotels and motels, including hotels that are operated as hotel condominiums, time-shares, or under a fractional ownership model, are limited to occupancy of up to 30 consecutive days at any one time and must be available for overnight stays by the general public.

  • Public access on shoreline

    Any hotel or motel located on the shoreline of San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay will be required to provide and maintain public access facilities and expand existing access, including parking for visitors, as required by the Bay Conservation and Development Commission, if feasible, unless expansion would adversely affect natural resources or natural processes.

  • Residential uses are prohibited.
