Other

  • Maximum age of home10 years

    No more than 10 years may elapse between the date of the manufacture of the manufactured home and the date of the application for issuance of a permit to install a home on a lot in the City.

  • National certification required

    A manufactured home must be certified under the standards set forth in the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1976, as amended, at the time of any application for placement of such manufactured home.

  • Permanent foundation required

    The manufactured home must be placed on a permanent foundation in accordance with the standards set forth in the Uniform Building Code.

  • Permanent utility hookups required

    Each manufactured home must be provided permanent hookups for electricity, gas, water, and sewer connections in the same manner applicable to permanent buildings.
